As an offical Nolan Group rider, Danilo Petrucci has official race replica helets out in a number of ranges owned by Nolan. This is his relica in the entry level and affordable Nolan N64 Gemini range, probably the most cost effective way to get a great looking official MotoGP race replica without breaking the bank.
Petrucci has some really nice looking graphics at the moment that have been designed by Roby Marchionni of Starline designs. The design is set on a white base with grey flowers and leaves forming a pattern across it. Black stripes that contain coloured flowers and leaves run from the back of the helmet all the way to the front.
This is the same design that Danilo Petrucci currently races with in MotoGP and it is a beautiful looking helmet.
Great companies are born out of great passions. Nolan has always meant “passion for two wheels”. The history of Nolan began in 1972 when Lander Nocchi, an entrepreneur in the motorbike and car accessories sector, decided to produce motorcycle helmets that could be lighter and more affordable than those on the market at the time. He purchased, from a company in the United States, an innovative plastic material, Lexan, which was light and versatile, and started producing polycarbonate helmets. In the following 37 years, other important ideas have been put into production, and they proved to be well known and highly valued products by thousands of customers in more than 70 countries around the globe.
The N64 is Nolan’s new full-face helmet, designed for road use and ideal for all conditions, from long trips to daily use around town. This new model stands out thanks to its racing style design and the attention to detail making it a a great everyday helmet….. and the competitive price is an added bonus.

Our review of the Nolan N64 Gemeni helmet:
This is intended as an entry level helmet, which is reflected in the price. As a result the helmet is optimised for day to day road use, whether that is a short commute to work or a trip across the county to see family. This helmet basically has you covered for both use cases, and gives you enough features and flexibility for it to be pretty much everything you need.
The overall fit of this helmet is actually pretty neutral and there is plenty of room inside without it feeling claustrophobic. The shell of the helmet has an aggressive shape and looks like a sports helmet, especially with the replica graphics that are available in the Nolan N64 Gemini (including this great looking Danilo Petrucci one) range. The interior of the helmet can be fully removed for cleaning, and ventilation is provided by two vents positioned at the front (one at the chin and the other above the visor), and the air is then extracted by vents at the rear.
The visor has an anti-scratch coating applied to it to make it last longer, and it also has a Microlock retention system, allowing for visor removal without the need for additional tools.
In summary, if you are not a track rider then the Nolan is a solid everyday helmet with the added advantage that you can pick it up with some stunning race graphics.
