This is the brand new Valentino Rossi Winter Test helmet (the same helmet that Rossi wore for his first outings on the Ducati) that is now available in strictly limited numbers in the AGV GP-Tech range.
The helmet was designed by Aldo Drudi, and it is a striking yellow and black design. During winter testing in 2010-2011, Valentino Rossi returned to his favourite colour scheme of black and yellow as he changed teams to join Ducati.
The helmet features Valentino Rossi’s Sun and Moon motif. The left side of the helmet features a huge crescent moon, and the right side features a flaming sun. The rear of the helmet features a small Italian flag and a large number ’46′.
As we mentioned, this is being made in very limited numbers, so even if you have no intention of wearing the helmet, it still makes a good collectors piece.

The helmet model used is the AGV GP Tech which is the top of the range AGV helmet, designed and developed with Rossi’s support. This helmet has a super-light carbon-kevlar construction and an anti-scratch and anti-fog race visor for top performance.
