The AGV Corsa is AGV’s ‘next-to-best’ motorcycle helmet and sits just behind the Pista GP in the AGV range. The Corsa maintains many of the race-inspired features of the Pista GP but adds more flexibility to create a more forgiving helmet that is equally at home on the street or the track.
This is the Valentino Rossi helmet design from the 2015 Qatar MotoGP night race. It is basically Rossi’s classic ‘Soleluna’ design with the Sun at the front and the Moon at the back, but the colour scheme features more yellow on the base and Rossi went for a much darker crescent moon on the back of the helmet for the Qatar night race. It is available in the AGV Corsa range now.
The AGV Corsa is kind of a ‘little-brother’ to the AGV Pista GP model. It is packed with loads of features that you get on the Pista GP (which is basically AGV’s race helmet) but it also comes with more flexible featire sets that make the Corsa suitable for road use, as well as for tearing it up on the track.
AGV Corsa Valentino Rossi Qatar:
The all new AGV Corsa Helmet is constructed from SSL (Super-Super-Light) Carbon-Kevlar and is based on same helmet worn by the top class Moto GP rider Valentino Rossi (Pista GP). With an all new shell shape and aerodynamically tested venting system hollowed directly in the shell, the AGV Corsa helmet longs to be at the track. The AGV Corsa has a Cool Max removable and washable interior with hygienic treatment. It has a Double D retention system and a clear, flat, anti-scratch, Pinlock ready polycarbonate race 2 visor with XQRS (Extra Quick Release System) and tear-off system.
The AGV CORSA features most of the features of the PISTA GP model, in a SSL (Super Super Light) composite fiber (Aramid & Carbon Fiber) outer shell. It was developed in the same AGV Extreme Standards Helmets project of the PISTA GP, which makes it one of the most innovative helmets ever released by AGV. It was designed, developed, and tested together with Valentino Rossi aiming to create the ultimate protection for racing. The use of FEM (Finite Elements Analysis) enabled developers to reach new untouched standards in terms of protection, comfort, and ergonomics.
- The new IVS (Integrated Ventilation System) provides a total surface area of air intakes improved by 193% .
- The rear spoiler and the smaller dimensions of the front section and lateral section maximize aerodynamic performances at high speeds.
- The new quick release visor mechanism is 71% smaller. It is also provided with a front microlock system that reduces the risk of opening, in the event of an accident.
- The field of vision is 15° wider and has been optimized for a rider tucked over the tank.
- The cheek pads in AGV Dry-Comfort material treated with sanitizing treatment can be customized with replacement cheek pads of different thicknesses.
