In 2009 season, he moved to the MotoGP (800cc) class, racing for Pramac Ducati. Injury and a dip in form has seen Kallio move back down to the Moto2 class for 2011 racing for the Marc VDS Racing Team. In recent years Kallio has been working as a test rider for the KTM factory MotoGP team.
Kallio races with Shoei helmets, and Shoei have released Kallio replicas in the past, complete with his ‘fire’ and ‘ice’ motifs, but none are currently available on the market at the moment.
