Shinya Nakano Sakura custom helmet

Who remembers the beautiful Shinya Nakano Sakura helmet design that he raced with in MotoGP?

It was a stunning looking helmet the featured Nakano’s signature cartoon eyes at the front, but it also had an intricate Sakura blossom design on the sides.

Well DFD Factory Design have managed to pull off an amazing paint job of this design on a jet helmet. Despite the lacl of space they have done a really amazing job of capturing the main elements of the design and making it fit on the shape of a jet helmet.

Colin Edwards reveals new helmet at Indianapolis – Navy Seals tribute

Colin Edwards is wearing a custom helmet design for this weekend’s MotoGP at Indianapolis.

Edwards is vocal supporter of the US military, and has had a helmet design as a tribute to the US Navy SEALs. It features the emblem of the SEALs, and Edwards intends the design to be a tribute to the recently lost servicemen, as well as a tribute to those still serving.

Jorge Lorenzo is ‘Maverick’ at Brno

Jorge Lorenzo is getting to be as good as Valentino Rossi for custom designed helmets, and this weekend at the Brno MotoGP, Lorenzo has unveiled a new helmet design that is based on the helmet design from Top Gun.

The design is pretty much the same as the one worn by Tom Cruise, who play’s ‘Maverick’ in the film.

It even has the word ‘Maverick’ across the front.

Custom ‘Tron’ Motorcycle Helmet (…and make your own)

Yes! This is what happens when grown men have their childhood re-ignited by a re-release of a film from their youth….in this case ‘Tron’.
